Gifts for the dog person who has everything

Dog people are the easiest group to buy for and the hardest to surprise. Everything obvious has been given already, usually by three different relatives.

The one gap in the market

Almost nobody owns their breed rendered as something else. A dachshund duck, a corgi duck, a chihuahua duck — the joke lands because the recipient recognizes their dog instantly and then has to explain why it has a beak.

How to choose the breed

• If they have one dog, buy that breed. Accuracy beats cleverness.
• If they have several, buy the one they talk about most.
• If the breed is not in our catalog, ask. We take requests and add breeds regularly — about forty so far.

A dog person will not cry over a mug. They might over a duck that looks like their dog.

One note: our breed ducks are caricatures, not portraits. The markings are simplified, and a merle or a brindle coat becomes a single solid color. That is the format working as intended.
