Why Dallas, Georgia

People ask why the studio is here rather than in a city with cheaper shipping or a bigger market. The honest answer is that this is home, and a small town turns out to be a genuinely good place to make things.

What the location gives us

  • Space. A row of printers needs a room with ventilation and a door that closes, which is easier to find here than in an apartment.
  • A short drive to the post office and to the local markets where we first tested designs in person.
  • Enough quiet to notice when a printer starts making a sound it should not.

What it costs us

Humidity, mostly. Georgia summers are hard on filament, and every spool here spends more time in a dryer than it would in Arizona. We plan around it rather than complain about it.

Made in Dallas, Georgia is not a marketing line. It is just where the printers are.

Every order ships from here, packed by hand, usually within three business days. Nothing is drop-shipped from anywhere else.
